Also known as Nebulus, Tower Toppler is one
of my favorites on the C64.
The game is more or less based on a cool (for the time) rotating "3D" tower effect. You play as a little green critter
trying to climb a series of these towers before time runs out. If you run into a baddie, you don't
die, but simply fall a couple levels lower on the tower. However, this does slow you down and if your critter hits the water,
you lose a life. Bonus underwater sub levels with parallax
scrolling haven't aged as well, but are still a fun diversion from the main game.
A good mix of puzzles, memorization and hand-eye coordination, Tower
Toppler is well worth your time.
