A unique experience in the American market. Called "digital comics" in Japan, the format of Snatcher is rather unusual. A sci-fi mystery with Anime style imagery, the player interacts with different characters in a Blade Runneresque universe with liberal references to "the Terminator" and other popular films.

Moody music and professional (i.e. believable) voice-overs add to the fun. While short in game time, Snatcher is a story/game that really works. The game makes use of the Sega lightgun, but can be played with just the control pad. If you track down a copy, be sure to enter the code "KONAMI" in the in game computer to play the uncensored version. As a side note, the creators of Snatcher are also responsible for the Metal Gear series.

I only wish other games were released in the USA expanding on the format. The prequel, Policenauts was never released state side.
