Megamania is an excellent shooter that really tests your hand-eye coordination! Like many early shooters, You have a gun that can fire and move left or right. You defend again eight waves of different bizarre objects: Hamburgers, Cookies, Bugs, Radial Tires, Diamonds, Steam Irons, Bow Ties, and Space Dice.

The waves alternate between being horizontal and vertical in their patterns. After clearing the last wave, the objects return with more complicated patterns. While clearing the waves once shouldn't be hard after you get familiar with the game, clearing them a second time or more is much more challenging (particularly the Cookie and Radial Tire waves).

The graphics and sounds in Megamania are simple, but well done. It's the "dead on" control combined with the ramped up difficulty that make Megamania fun.
