This is a nice little shooter that both kids and adults will enjoy. The backgrounds are colorful and the sprites are large and cute. The game ramps up to a decent flurry of bullets after awhile, and the occasional chance to pick your own power-ups adds variety to the game.
While the in game music is decent enough, the sounds are rather blah. The bosses are also a bit underwhelming. But the game offers enough to keep me coming back to discover what new, unusual enemies await. (Bowls of rice, anyone? Spinning cat heads?)
