My favorite SNES shooter. Besides having an amazing use
of mode 7, a great "motivational" intro, choice of weapons,
huge bosses, psuedo first person and side scrolling levels,
and great music, Axelay has very good level design
that involves a good deal of strategy. It will take some
thought to get through this one. Beats "hold down the
fire button and avoid the projectiles" type games. One
to get.
